I am Randy Deibert-a Spearfish native, local business owner and your Republican candidate running for re-election for State Senate District 31.
Locally, I volunteer my time to several boards, groups and non-profit organizations. I became a father of four in one day when I married my charming wife of twenty-seven years and together, we have nine grandchildren-one who is smiling down on me every day.
For seven years I served as your Lawrence County Commissioner and two years ago you entrusted me to be your Christian, common-sense conservative voice in Pierre by electing me as your State Senator-District 31. As your elected official, board and committee appointed member, business owner and concerned citizen, I care about the will of my constituents, understanding the issues, independent research, doing the right thing, the needs of the state, the best course of action, and making good policy. As a legislative leader, I was appointed to summer studies which developed property tax stabilization and reduction. Chosen by leadership, I served on five Senate Committees-Agriculture and Natural Resources (Vice Chair), State Affairs, State and Local Government, Transportation and Retirement Laws. As your Senator, I sponsored and co-sponsored worthy bills that have been signed into law by Governor Noem.
