As a supporter of public broadcasting and my appointment to the South Dakota Department of Public Safety Communications Council by Governor Larry Rhoden, I was invited to attend the SDPB & Friends Strategic Planning Work Group today. Joined by Representative Erik Muckey; South Dakota Governor’s Commissioner of the Bureau of Information and Telecommunications, Mark Wixon; SDPB Executive Director, Julie Overgaard; and other advocates, we evaluated past performance and discussed long range plans.
